Casa Perico is one of the original places to stay along the Rio Dulce, having been there now for almost 25 years. It’s a great spot, accessible only by boat, and has everything you need to start your adventure on the Rio Dulce. Shared rooms were comfortable, and at a great price. They have an on-site restaurant for all your meals and foods (you’re not allowed to bring any outside food or drinks in). Prices were generally good at the restaurant, but can add up quickly if you’re there for a number of days.
