Santiago Atitlan is the largest city on Lake Atitlan, but somehow also, the least visited apparently. It’s very traditional, very local-feeling, and it’s probably why I liked it so much.
Casa Rebeca was a lovely stay in the city. The host was wonderful, the rooms were big and comfortable. The shared bathroom was never busy where you’d have to wait, and they have “actual” hot water, not just an electric showerhead.
Bed was super comfortable, and the large, spacious kitchen had everything you need if you’re traveling on a budget and cooking for yourself.
Wifi was also very good, and you have a beautiful view of the volcanoes!

I am staying at Casa Rebeca now, on your recommendation, and it is a great place. I showed your YouTube review to Rebeca, and she was thrilled since she hadn’t seen it before. She was happy lol.
