Habitacion Casa Zoila – San Miguel (Flores) 🇬🇹

Casa Zoila was a really cool spot, across the lake from the island of Flores on Lake Peten. It was an apartment in three parts, of sorts. The bedroom, a separate, private bathroom, and then an outdoor kitchen/dining area. The water taxis drop you off right in front of the place, if coming from the island. Cori, the host, was amazing. Always helpful and available. There’s a couple of markets nearby if you want to pick up fresh supplies as well.

I’d recommend reaching out directly via WhatsApp, to avoid the fees of the booking sites. Payment is cash only. Stayed here a week, and wish it had been longer.
No AC, so you might find the room a bit warm at night, but there was always a nice breeze as well.

Highly recommended if you’re looking for a nice big space for yourself while you explore the area.
