When I came through Huehue the first time, I forgot to do a room review for Hotel Shinula, despite really liking the place. The bed is one of the best I’ve ever had, it has a nice private bathroom, a little hotplate and sink in the room and the wifi was good.
The second time through Huehue, I was only staying a night, to break up the trip from Mexico down to Lake Atitlan. To my surprise (and enjoyment), I ended up in the exact same room for the second time.
Was just as good as I remember. The price is the same, and the wifi was improved since the first visit. It’s very much in the heart of the main market, so it can be a little chaotic in the area, but it’s a fantastic deal.
