Dustin’s 2-Bed Lakefront Bungalow on Laguna de Apoyo was a little slice of tranquility. Apoyo is a place most go for a day trip, but I wanted to spend a few nights there, and I’m glad I did. His place was an entire bungalow overlooking the lagoon. You’ll need to bring your own groceries, as you’re pretty isolated there, but it’s worth it. So peaceful at night. Great wifi despite it’s remote location. It’s at the bottom of a steep hill, so keep that in mind on your way out!The on-site caretaker can help with taxi arrangements when you’re ready to leave.
